Today 's excursion to Duong Lam will send you to the place of ancient Vietnamese culture. Duong Lam is one of the country’s few remaining ancient villages where several hundred-year-old houses preserved . Wander the village narrow alley, visit houses over 400 years old, local temples,meet friendly local people and explore the very traditional life style. Come to Mong Phu hamlet whose original village entrance remains intact, visit Mong Phu temple then have lunch in a local house of 100 years old
After lunch, visit Mia Pagoda constructed in the 15th century with 287 statues of all sizes, then visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes. In the afternoon return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Breakfast at hotel then have an out- of - beat trails including biking in the Hanoi surrounding countryside.
From your hotel, cycle to the old quater, glimpse at Hanoian everyday life activities : people sitting on the street, sipping tea and eating Pho, the fresh flower vendors with a basket filled with the roses,lys on their bicyles, the barber shop at the street corner.. Cycling through the historic Long Bien Bridge,then first stop is a visit at a local house where you will be warmly welcome with tea and fruits. Crossing through vegetable banana farmlands on Bai Giua where you may find many opportunities to take the scenic photographs.
Continue your bike to Quang Ba village where you will explore the Peach, kumquat and other bonsai gardens. Peddle through the greenery rice field to the pottery market along the Red River where ceramic products are stacked up in the bamboo basket to be transfer to downtown by bicyle. The route also passes through Red River’s floating houses and the colourful flower gardens. Have lunch in a riverside cafeteria then drive back to West lake area, crossing the lotus lake, come to a house making lotus tea and visit one Buddist Pagoda. Continue to explore the quiet streets to discover the life of people in the Hanoi suburban area. In the afternoon , return to your hotel (around 4:00pm )The rest of the day at leisure, your guide and car are available should you need them for city exploration. Overnight in Hanoi.
