Located in Binh Thuan province, Phan Thiet (Mui Ne) is a small coastal town with a thriving fishing industry renowned for its long stretches of sandy beaches and perennial sea breezes that greatly complement wind-surfing and kite-surfing. It is also famous for the wind-sculpted red and white sand dunes that make great postcard shots and adventurous sports.
ITINERARY
Only four hours driving from Ho Chi Minh City, Phan Thiet / Mui Ne is a popular beach getaway for locals and expats alike. The area also boasts some of Vietnam’s finest resort hotels and Sea Links Golf course.
With twenty kilometers of white sandy beaches and strong sea breezes, Mui Ne has become one of the world’s wind surfing and kite boarding capitals.
Another attraction of the area is the white and red sand dunes that rise above this quaint old fishing village, creating an exotic desert effect.
